Drought tolerant when established. A beautiful, smaller Agave with solitary rosettes with blue/green leaves with dark red edges. The yellow margin is highlighted by dark reddish teeth giving the leaf four colors. Protect from frost to avoid scarring.

Agave angustifolia ‘Marginata’ (Ribbon agave). Sunset: 12-24; USDA: 9b-10. Full sun to light shade, heat tolerant. Hardy to 25°F. Grows to 3′ tall – 3′ wide. Infrequent water. Native to Mexico.

Agave desmettiana (Smooth agave). 13-24; USDA: 8-10. Semi hardy in Phoenix to 28°F. Full sun to light shade. Grows to 4′ tall; 4′ wide. Native to Mexico.

This listing is for a Quadricolor Century Plant (Agave lophantha Quadricolor), 6-8 inches in diameter. Sold rooted without soil or pot.

Drought tolerant when established. Dark green leaves edged with yellow and a pale green midstripe. The yellow margin is highlighted by dark reddish teeth giving the leaf four colors. Provide partial to full sun. Water thoroughly when soil is dry. Looks best with more regular watering in hotter months.
