Opuntia ficus-indica ‘Burbank Spineless’ cactus seeds. This listing is for the seeds of a nearly spineless variety of opuntia, selectively cultivated for its edible fruit. Seeds will eventually grow into a tall green cactus, with oblong pads that are a little on the thinner side. In spring and summer orange/yellow flowers bloom. The fruit is also orange/yellow colored, delicious and sweet. This plant was developed by the famous American botanist Luther Burbank, in Santa Rosa California.
