Echinocereus dubius. Sunset 9b-11; USDA: 8-10. Hardy to 20° F. Full sun to light shade. Little water, needs porous soil, limestone in the mix is very helpful. Clumping cactus making colonies up to 3′ diameter. Red flowers. Origin: Northeastern Mexico, Texas.
