                                            Cleistocactus strausii seeds. USDA: 9-10. Hardy to 14° F. Light shade in desert gardens. Multiple stem, columnar growth to 8′ tall. Regular water summer, no water in winter. Tubular burgundy flowers, attracts hummingbirds. Origin: Bolivia, Argentina.
